Walking Dead Valentine’s Day Card

Do the undead know love? Or do they, as they pass into the evermore, unknow love? According to these The Walking Dead Valentine’s Day card, we ought not forget about the living dead on this day devoted to matters of the heart. Besides, isn’t Valentine’s Day just a Hallmark holiday marketed toward a bunch of zombies, anyway? (Sorry, we had to.)

Over on Instagram, the creators of the bloody AMC show have created a handful of loving, if disturbing, Valentine’s cards for the zombies, or zombie-lovers in your life.

But of course, for the sake of your own safety, we recommend sticking with the latter, rather than the former.

After all, love kills.

You want to talk about needs?

Don’t box the undead in.

Who says Valentine’s Day can’t celebrate risen corpses? Little is known of St. Valentine, other than that he was martyred and buried at a cemetery on the Via Flaminia to the north of Rome, maybe on February 14, 269, or 270…or 273…or 280. The fact that his legend has lived on forever leads us to believe that he himself is walking among us. Not “undead,” per se, but continuing to give all those with beating hearts a new life. And perhaps those whose sustenance includes beating hearts are included in his everlasting legacy.
