Amazon Black Friday 2020 deals are going to launch ahead of the November 27 date that we officially know as Black Friday, maybe even showing up as early as Amazon Prime Day 2020 on October 13-14, 2020.
While there’s a good chance we’ll see some great deals on Amazon Prime Day, there’s no doubt that Black Friday is going to be the big deals blowout you’ve come to expect. In fact, with Covid-19 preventing many stores in the US from opening right now, online deals are going to be even bigger in 2020.
The idea of tracking down a big-screen TV on an online marketplace the size of Amazon’s may sound a bit intimidating at first, but we promise we can help you navigate the twists and turns of the world’s largest retailer to find the best deals.
Come November our editors work around the clock to curate the best Amazon Black Friday deals, from 4K TVs and headphones, to smartphones and smart home tech, including those pesky lightning deals that never seem to stay in stock very long.
That said, while we won’t see the best deals until the clock strikes midnight on Thanksgiving Day, some minor deals are already up on the website. Shopping now could give you a bit of a head-start on your holiday shopping, reducing the stress and eliminating that last-minute rush to find the perfect gift.
If you have Amazon Prime, you’ll also get free two-day shipping, plus have access to Amazon Prime Music and Amazon Prime Video that will keep you entertained through New Years and beyond!
We’re showing you how to make the most of Amazon Black Friday deals this year, and how to get ahead of the crowds to find the best savings on the site.
Amazon Black Friday deals: what to expect
While you can certainly expect Amazon’s Black Friday deals to hits its range of smart devices and subscriptions, you’ll also find a massive range of goods on sale this November. We’re expecting to see laptops, TVs, headphones, smartwatches, tablets, and all manner of gadgets go under the knife this November.
Amazon also works hard to price match its competitors, which means it might be one of the best places to keep an eye on emerging deals – especially if you already know what you want. In the past, we’ve seen the retailer dropping an extra penny or two when another shop discounts a product in order to maintain their edge, so if you have the seconds to spare in the flurry we’d recommend cross-checking a deal you’ve found to see if you can save even more.
Plus, Amazon Black Friday deals have been particularly strong in the past, especially on top Apple products. Though sometimes beaten by smaller retailers, AirPods, iPads and MacBooks have been on sale at great prices in previous years.
We’re rounding up exactly what you can expect from each category just below, and some even have offers you can take advantage of right now. You can get a better understanding of the types of Amazon Black Friday deals we’ll be seeing in November from the offers already live today, so head further down the page to see if there’s already a discount on anything from your list.
Will Amazon Black Friday deals be better than Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day has been delayed, possibly to October, which puts it in pretty close competition with Black Friday. While the delay was down to prioritisation of essential goods over the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s likely Amazon has positioned its annual savings event to lead directly into the fourth quarter shopping season.
That means we’ll likely see Amazon’s Black Friday deals returning from Prime Day, rather than seeing extra discounts on top, as Amazon works to extend its initial reach from October into November.
