Halloween Decorations DIY: I honestly am the WORST at decorating for Halloween. I just have never had that much gumption to do so. The most I have ever done would be paper bats that I hung in our front entry and a scarecrow that I bought at Hobby Lobby (and it wasn’t even scary, more like happy/creepy).
This is the year I have decided to change all of that. So I asked my Pinterest guru sister, Nicole to send me some of her favorite Pins of Halloween and then I went on a search myself.
And I was completely amazed on what I found. People are so creative and amazingly talented. Be sure to check them all out, I have even shared with you which ones I will totally be doing.
Let me know if there are any that you just love or if I missed one of your favorites be sure to comment below, I totally want to check it out. XOXO San
Don’t forget to pin this to your favorite Pinterest board for later.
Floating Witch Hat Luminaries – this is honestly my favorite Halloween decoration and if I get the gumption to do any of these, it will be this one.
Friendly Ghosts – not too scary for those little ones, yet festive.
Chic Pumpkins – 2 ways and so easy, aren’t they adorable? I can totally do this!
Illuminated Ghost Garland – these are adorable and so easy! Click here to get the mini-lanterns.
BOO DIY Doormat – this is one that I have pinned because I want to try it. Click here to get a doormat.
Witch Legs – I know my grandma would get a hoot out of these. Maybe something we will have to go and do for her.
Mummy Door – love this easy transformation of your front door. My little guy Cannon really wants to do this.
Sidewalk Skulls – line your drive way with these skulls. Fun, festive decoration that won’t scare off the little ones.
Bats Door – I love, love, love this. I have my front door already decorated with a lame sticker. Thinking I will switch to this. Thoughts?
Cheesecloth Ghost – a perfect decoration for above the dining room table or door way entry. I think these are just adorable.
Bakers Twine Pumpkins – so simple and adorable. I would keep these up through Thanksgiving.
Spooky Spider Cutouts – simple, easy and little required. Perfect for a school party decoration or activity.
Vinyl Door Decorations – love that you can make your front door into a fun, easy, festive Halloween decor with something as simple as a vinyl tablecloth. Pick up your black vinyl table cloths here.
Floating Ghosts – the only Halloween decoration I made growing up. So easy and fun, they will last more than one year if stored well. Order some cheese-cloth here.

Spooky Crystal Ball Candle Sticks – these are something that I would totally pick up at Home Goods or Target. But I am sure it is cheaper to make them on my own. Impress your friends with these. Get the clear Christmas bulbs here.

Pacman Halloween Garland – I love this retro garland. I love that you could easily reuse this for a birthday party too. Best. Garland. Idea.

Spider Wreath – itsy – bitsy – spider went up the front door….I think that this is my favorite spider decoration yet!

Hanging Mummy Ghost – winner for the scariest ghost! Literally, this would be a cause for me to skip that house with my little ones. Granted my kids would run right up to it but trust me I would try to convince them otherwise…lol.
Halloween Pom Pom Garland (Wreath) – this is completely adorable and what I love about this garland is that it is felt. so you can reuse it every year.
Halloween Wreath – I love that you are just using things you already have on hand. Saving you at least $60!
Halloween Skull Wreath – clever idea. Making the front of your door a little spooky.
Candy Corn Garland – I am loving this idea. There are two drawbacks though – one I think my daughter Jersey would eat them and two I wonder if your hands get sticky?
Spooky Spider Eggs – creepy! Just creepy but that is the whole point right?
Vinyl Halloween Door Decorations – love that you can make these easy door decorations from picking up a few vinyl table cloths. Order the vinyl table cloths here.
Boneyard Lantern – this would make a fun teacher gift! Get the mini skulls here.
Spooky Terrariums – a simple glass jar and a few creepy, crawly plastic critters and you are set.

Jack Skellington Door – loving this free door printable from TwinDragonFlyDesigns.com.
Candy Corn Wreath – I love how this doesn’t look gaudy at all. Candy corn to me is just kind of gaudy, so that fact that I just love this wreath says a lot.
” alt=”candy-corn-wreath” width=”600″ height=”946″ data-src=”https://dashofsanity.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/candy-corn-wreath-650×1024.jpg” data-srcset=”https://dashofsanity.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/candy-corn-wreath-650×1024.jpg 650w, https://dashofsanity.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/candy-corn-wreath-190×300.jpg 190w, https://dashofsanity.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/candy-corn-wreath-768×1211.jpg 768w, https://dashofsanity.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/candy-corn-wreath-300×473.jpg 300w” data-sizes=”(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px” data-jpibfi-post-excerpt=”” data-jpibfi-post-url=”https://dashofsanity.com/best-50-diy-halloween-decorations/” data-jpibfi-post-title=”Best 50 DIY Halloween Decorations” data-jpibfi-src=”https://dashofsanity.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/candy-corn-wreath-650×1024.jpg” />

Mummy Jars – my sister has made these as well. She is Miss Crafty when it comes to making Halloween decorations and she becomes a little Pinterest obsessed. Pick up some mason jars here and grab the cheese cloth too while you are it.
